On May 1, Focus Features will be holding a special advance screening of Academy Award winning director Sam Mendes' latest film Away We Go, which was penned by Vendela Vida and Dave Eggers and stars John Krasinski and Maya Rudolph at San Francisco's Embarcadero Center Cinemas.

Away We Go follows Burt and Verona (Krasinski & Rudolph) on their cross country trip around the US to find the perfect home for their family to be. Along the way, they endure many misadventures and reconnect with various relatives and old friends who just may help them discover "home" for the first time on their very own.

Along with a screening of the movie, there will also be a Q&A with Mendes, Rudolph, Eggers, and Vida (no John Krasinski, booo!). And after that, there's an after party at Sens Restaurant.

Standard tickets are $30, which includes the screening, a poster, and admittance to the Q&A. VIP tickets are $125, which includes the screening, an autographed poster, admittance to the Q&A and after party.

Tickets can be purchased at Brown Paper Tickets. All proceeds benefit 826 National, The Believer, The Teacher Salary Project, and Voice of Witness.

I want to goooo . . . but lack of monies and lack of John Krasinski are kinda stopping me. :/
