The track listings for The Twilight Saga: New Moon's soundtrack has just been released. Fans of some of these bands may be up in arms at the participation of their beloved music being exposed to Twilighters. I can't say I really blame them because I was furious when I found out Death Cab For Cutie weren't only on it, but their single "Meet Me On The Equinox" would be the first single.

But y'know what? I'm [kinda] over it. Twilight actually had a pretty good soundtrack and New Moon doesn't look like it'll be too shabby either.

1. Death Cab For Cutie - "Meet Me On The Equinox"
2. Band of Skulls - "Friends"
3. Thom Yorke - "Hering Damage"
4. Lykke Li - "Possibility"
5. The Killers - "A White Demon Love Song"
6. Anya Marina - "Satellite Heart"
7. Muse - "I Belong To You (New Moon Remix)"
8. Bon Iver and St. Vincent - "Rosyln"
9. Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - "Done All Wrong"
10. Hurricane Bells - "Monsters"
11. Sea Wolf - "The Violet Hour"
12. Ok Go - "Shooting The Moon"
13. Grizzly Bear - "Slow Life"
14. Editors - "No Sound But The Wind"
15. Alexandre Desplat - "New Moon (The Meadow)"

Twilight News

We have a new blogger, Shanice! And she likes Twilight. A LOT.

Greetings to all the Twilighters out there, I am here to give you a Twilight fix so listen up.

Tonight our beloved trio will be attending the MTV Video Music Awards not only to show-off the official The Twilight Saga: New Moon trailer, but perhaps an award as well.

In other Twilight news, even though we will see Rachelle Lefevre in New Moon as Victoria, would it be fair to support newcomer Bryce Dallas Howard in the role regardless of your feelings about the in/out debacle of Lefevre‘s recasting? I say yes, because regardless of the situation between Summit and Lefevre, Howard is in fact a bystander and is just doing the job she was hired to do. Besides, SPOILER ALERT TO NON TWILIGHTERS Victoria dies in Eclipse so the why fuss?

Speaking of fuss, where is the hate for Taylor Lautner coming from? I swear that kid is just filled with enthusiasm and dedication and who can't appreciate that? He makes his co-stars look more appealing because without him, they appear to be rather withdrawn and moody. He's also on the latest cover of Teen Vogue.

Well folks, that’s all for this time around. Until then, enjoy your books -- more so the first three anyway.

And let the screaming commence

Twilighters have eagerly been awaiting the release of New Moon, the sequel to their beloved Twilight since the film came out last November. What are they to do until its November 20 release? The only thing holding them over are paparazzi shots of the cast on set, re-reading the series and fan fiction, watching little interviews on E! News and Access Hollywood, and watching the Twilight DVD numerous amounts of times. Well, I think that's what they're most likely doing. :/

Anyway, the theatrical poster has been released so there's one more thing to make them happy.

Twilighter Weekend

This past weekend proved to be a pretty big one for Twilighters [including myself] with several movie announcements and Robert Pattinson's appearance at the Oscar's the other night. Since Nina's post last week about "The Twilight Saga's New Moon" title and movie art release, the MTV Movie Blog has also given word that Summit Entertainment has confirmed that "The Twilight Saga's Eclipse" is scheduled to premeire June 30, 2010! As excited as I am to hear this news, I'm still pretty anxious about the casting decisions for New Moon since we haven't heard anything concrete since Taylor Lautner was confirmed to reprise his role as Jacob Black. With filming scheduled to begin sometime next month, they're either pushing this to the last minute or keeping a SUPER tight lid on leaking out any casting info.

And for those who missed Rob hit the red carpet and present at the Oscar's, you can find videos of his interviews on MTV as well as searching YouTube. Many of you will be happy to note that the hair is indeed back. Check the video & pic below if you need proof.
